Providing Support for Individual Learners and Small Groups
Focuses on developing skills to effectively support individual learners and small groups, tailoring approaches to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
UNIT NO 6
Developing Skills to Promote Positive Working Relationships
This unit emphasises the development of interpersonal skills necessary for fostering positive relationships with both colleagues and students in an educational setting.

Involves understanding the curriculum, planning and delivering educational content and assessing student progress in alignment with school standards and policies.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed to help teaching assistants take on new responsibilities and challenges. With the HLTA, teaching assistants may be allowed to teach classes on their own, cover planned absences and manage other learning support staff. They’ll also be given a higher salary. The HLTA is suitable for anyone already in a teaching assistant role who is looking to progress in their career.
