This unit provides a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical principles and practices of internal quality assurance. It covers topics such as the purpose and requirements of quality assurance, the roles and responsibilities of internal quality assurers and the procedures for maintaining and improving the quality of assessment.

This unit focuses on the practical aspects of leading and conducting internal quality assurance of assessment processes.

Plan, Allocate and Monitor Work in Own Area of Responsibility:
This unit extends beyond quality assurance and addresses leadership and management skills. It covers planning, allocation of tasks and monitoring work within one’s area of responsibility.
