When it comes to pool safety, your knowledge and skills can mean the difference between life and death. This is precisely why the emergency pool responder course is of immense value for the leisure sector. But how long does it take to complete this invaluable course?

At CTC Training, we run two versions of the course — STA and RLSS — both of which are run over two days (usually 09:00-17:00). This includes contact time with a tutor and excludes break times, changing times, etc.

The second day is devoted to practical skills. You will be given hands-on training in areas such as poolside rescue techniques, CPR and first aid. This crucial day of training allows you to practice your skills in a controlled, supervised environment.
